IDF bruker "nasjonal-religiøse dikt" for å øke moralen i Gaza-krigen

"The IDF Uses Revenge Poems to Boost Soldiers' Morale in Gaza"

"An anthology published by the IDF includes poems which express a desire for vengeance and paint the combat in Gaza as a religious war."

"Brig. Gen. David Bar Khalifa (who, ahead of the ground operation in Gaza, issued an order of the day, in which he wrote,:
"We will crush every damned part from which he came [the enemy from Gaza], we will destroy him and his memory and we will not return until it is finished. He will render vengeance to His adversaries, and makes expiation for the land of His people."

Om Hannibal-direktivet - Ulovlig sier Asa Kasher

"'Unlawful, Unethical, Horrifying': IDF Ethics Code Author on Alleged Use of 'Hannibal Directive' During Hamas Attack"

"Asa Kasher, the philosopher who wrote the IDF's Code of Conduct, tells Haaretz that incidents in which the infamous operational order may have been used on October 7 must be investigated immediately: 'There is absolutely nothing [in the code] to allow someone to kill an Israeli citizen, in uniform or not'"

"Kasher stridently agreed with the families that an investigation is needed immediately, starting with the Military Defense Counsel and if need be moved to the State Attorney. "How is it possible that a high ranking army official would give a command that so immediately and definitely endangers the life of so many civilians? It's just horrifying."

"Israeli Army Probing Death of 12 Hostages in Kibbutz Be'eri House Shelled on Orders of Senior Officer"

"General Staff team to ask Brig. Gen. Barak Hiram, the commander who gave the order to fire, for his version of events on October 7. The IDF had originally planned to wait until the end of the war before investigating the incident."
