Washington Post: IDF bombet "sikkert" FN-hus i Gaza, men IDF nekter

Photos point to Israeli tank fire in deadly strike on U.N. guest house

Experts say images obtained by The Washington Post show blast patterns and shell fragments that are consistent with two Israeli tank shells. The IDF has denied responsibility for the strike, which killed a European aid worker.

The strike on March 19, which came a day after Israel’s surprise bombardment ended a two-month ceasefire, led the United Nations to substantially scale back its international workforce in the Gaza Strip. The U.N. has blamed Israel for the attack, an assertion some analysts have supported. Israel has denied responsibility.
