The most horrific article I've read in Haaretz. If this is true of Israel's thinking, that a humanitarian crisis is a plus,
part of the arsenal at its disposal which gives it diplomatic
leverage, and if this indeed will form the basis of of its future Gaza
policy, then, no matter how
successful it is by any other metrics, Israel
will become a failed state
